Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!
The Site EHS Officer will support the BU EHS Officer in implementing QEHS standards and ensuring compliance with ISO and other international standards at the site level. This role focuses on executing QEHS programs, monitoring adherence, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support QEHS IMS Implementation and ISO Compliance: Assist in applying QEHS standards, guidelines, and processes at the site level in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Certification Support: Assist in preparations for third-party certification audits related to ISO standards related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Program Execution: Promote and implement QEHS programs and initiatives, monitor their effectiveness, and report progress to the BU EHS Officer.
• Audits & Inspections: Plan and conduct site-level audits, inspections, and assessments, ensuring timely follow-up on findings.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure identification and adherence to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Apply QEHS risk management principles in site operations and activities.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit QEHS reports as per local and Siemens requirements.
• Communication & Training: Facilitate QEHS-related communication and provide training to site personnel on EHS best practices.
• Product Safety & Material Compliance: Support implementation of product safety guidelines and EHS material compliance.
• Supplier/Contractor Assessment: Conduct QEHS evaluations for contractors and suppliers as required and as per internal procedure.
• Customer Feedback: Assist in managing customer feedback as per internal procedure.
• Data Analysis: Track QEHS performance metrics and generate statistical reports for continuous improvement.
Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!
• Engineering\scientific bachelor’s degree.
• 2–3 years of EHS experience, preferably in power stations, substations, or transmission/distribution projects.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Excellent communication and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
• Excellent command of Arabic and English languages.
