Your new role – challenging and future-oriented: Site Manager for Operation and Maintenance of Potline Rectifiers and Switchyard at BALCO, Korba.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds - The candidate shall be responsible for smooth execution of Contract and Responsible to manage and lead a team of 140x Manpower, Operation and Maintenance planning, Environment, health and safety ,Preventive, breakdown and planned maintenance at site, Customer coordination on daily/weekly/monthly reporting to client, Billing and revenue collection, Site material inventory management, O & M of Electrical network in effective manner to achieve agreed KPI (Highest Availability, less breakdown, critical equipment availability etc) etc.

Qualifications & Skills:
1. The candidate should have Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical) with Min. 15 years of experience in the field of O & M/Erection/Testing & commissioning with at least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager. The position is for Site Manager at BALCO, Korba site
2. Very good technical know-how on AIS/GIS substation configurations.
3. Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & Power Points
4. Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation skills.
5. Candidate should have sound knowledge in the substation operation and maintenance activities, Customer handling, electrical trouble shooting.
6. Also should be well capable to handle the site manpower, contractor manpower, meeting customer KPI's and fulfil customer requirements.
7. Should strictly adhere to EHS guidelines. Also should be well aware about the recent industry standards rules of safety, PTW, LOTO process, etc. and expert in preparing of EHS documents.
8. On site Planning and execution of Periodic Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance with trouble shooting capabilities of 400/220/132kV Power Transformer, Breaker, CT, PT, Control panel, Relays, ACDB, SCADA, Battery with Battery charger.
