Job Description

Position:  Electrical Site Manager

Requirement: We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our execution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and supervision of on-site installation, testing & commissioning of HV & EHV electrical substation. Primarily for up to 220kV AIS/GIS electrical substation projects on construction sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning site activities and preparing work schedule for daily monitoring and customer submission. Prepare and maintain documentation required as per site & site requirement. 

• Coordination with back office, site team, customer, consultants, contractor etc as required to ensure smooth execution of site activities.

• Monitoring & maintaining company's EHS policies & other mandatory EHS requirements and explaining the necessity of complying the EHS requirements to the team & workers working under the team.

• Providing regular updates on project progress, highlighting any potential issues or challenges.

• Ensuring successful installations, testing & commissioning of the system. 

• Reviewing drawings and installation method statements to ensure they comply with the design plan. Ensuring as-built drawing are prepared in time and marked up drawing submission to project & engineering team.

• Ensuring trouble free energization of system.

• Successful handing over of the system to the client or end-user.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BE/BTech engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field OR Diploma engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as Site Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of construction practices. 

• Proficiency in using MS excel, words and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. 

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
