Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
- Architect global infrastructure for MongoDB Atlas serving enterprise-scale NoSQL workloads worldwide
- Implement multi-cloud automation spanning AWS, GCP, and Azure with seamless global replication
- Optimize performance end-to-end from MongoDB application layer through firmware optimization
- Build self-healing systems eliminating pager alerts through proactive monitoring and automation
- Process billions of metrics daily from distributed MongoDB clusters with advanced observability
- Design cost-efficient infrastructure balancing performance, simplicity, and maintainability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams maintaining fluid SRE boundaries

Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- 3+ years running mission-critical Linux services at massive scale
- Expertise in modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java) beyond scripting
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, TLS, DNS) and distributed systems
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent production experience
