Role Overview

Skechers is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Analista de Contabilidad Cuentas por Cobrar (Accounts Receivable Accounting Analyst) to join our team in Lima, Peru. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate control, reconciliation, and analysis of revenue from assigned Skechers stores. You will play a critical part in maintaining reliable and timely financial information aligned with internal processes and current regulations.

Day in the Life

As an Analista de Contabilidad Cuentas por Cobrar, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Analyzing daily sales from assigned stores, validating supporting documentation, cash deposits, credit card vouchers, bank transfers, and ensuring proper matching with bank accounts.
• Verifying compliance with the sales liquidation process and timely deposit of revenues.
• Performing daily cross-checks between store sales reports, card operators, and bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Downloading and analyzing reports from card operators (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Diners).
• Downloading sales reports from Apropos and Xstore systems, as well as bank reports from the assigned store portfolio.
• Recording and controlling batch numbers per operator (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Diners), including Puntos Vida.
• Recording operation numbers of deposits made by store personnel.
• Controlling deposits and payments made by the courier agent (Hermes).
• Identifying needs for regularization of documents (manual or duplicate vouchers).
• Coordinating the generation of documents in Efact or Edicom.
• Resolving incidents detected during the reconciliation process and coordinating with card operators when necessary.
• Tracking regularizations until closure and validating their correct execution.
• Developing and maintaining bank and collection templates using macros for efficient data loading into Concar.
• Loading accounting information and validating its correct integration into the system.
• Analyzing information to identify trends, patterns, performance by store, and possible anomalies.
• Preparing reports on compliance with cash deposits, sales by store and operator, bank statements, among others.
• Organizing collection documentation for safekeeping and archiving.
• Sending weekly reports of receipts exceeding S/ 700 without complete information, in compliance with SUNAT regulations.
• Verifying the timely submission of monthly sales reports to shopping centers.
• Validating monthly sales information before sending it to the corresponding shopping centers.
• Executing other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor related to the financial analysis of the store portfolio.
