For our R&D team, we are looking for a mechanical engineer to help us drive medium voltage products within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You’ll make an impact by
- Design parts and assemblies for medium voltage switchgear. Taking special account of functional, Manufacturing and installation aspects as well as economic aspects.
- Create samples and prototypes to test the concepts, include the preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of development tests as well as the derivation of improvement measures from the results.
- Work together with simulation and technical testing and coordinating with internal and external partners (Headquarter in Germany, Suppliers etc.)
- Cooperate with relevant departments to do new product introduction and production line set up.
- Release of new parts according to related process
Your defining qualities
- Bachelor's or above degree majoring in Mechanical.
- Experience on design and test of medium voltage switchgear products is preferred.
- Familiar with software tools (Teamcenter, NX).
- Familiar with product development process.
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Good teamwork and collaboration on working together with relevant departments to do new product introduction and production line set up.
- Fast learning ability.
