AR Moderation Senior Specialist

Location: New York, United States

Department: Corporate

Employment Type: Full time

About Snap Inc

Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

About the Role

Snap Inc is a camera company at heart, pioneering AR innovation through Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles to empower authentic self-expression, real-time connections, and immersive world discovery. As an AR Moderation Senior Specialist in our New York office (Corporate department), you'll own daily review operations for AR products like Snap Lenses, executing against roadmaps and OKRs to deliver safe, high-quality experiences for millions of creators and users. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Policy teams, you'll harness data-driven insights from KPIs to evolve moderation systems, blending hands-on operations with technical expertise to scale AR safety amid our creative, fast-evolving culture. In this role, you'll dive deep into Lens submissions, ensuring they align with Snap's creative policies, technical standards, and safety guidelines while managing queues to hit SLAs. You'll analyze trends in AR content data to preempt risks, partner on automation tools that slash review times, and provide expert guidance to creators worldwide. As a subject-matter expert, you'll balance AR innovation with platform integrity, advising on global cultural nuances and emerging features to keep Snapchat's AR ecosystem vibrant yet secure. Your impact will span operations and strategy: mentoring teams, calibrating vendors, and influencing product roadmaps with dashboards and reports. With a 'default together' policy expecting 4+ days in-office weekly, you'll thrive in Snap's collaborative environment fueled by diverse perspectives. Join us to shape the future of AR moderation, where camera technology meets creative freedom in a company committed to human progress through fun, expressive tech. Snap is an equal opportunity employer offering competitive pay (Zone A: $89,000-$133,000 base + RSUs), comprehensive benefits, and accommodations for disabilities.
