Join us as a Content Analyst (Fixed Term, 6 months) in the Product Department to drive AR content innovation in our creative, fast-paced culture. In this role, you'll dive deep into AR content performance on Snapchat, tracking engagement metrics from camera-captured moments to identify trends and optimization opportunities. You'll design and maintain intuitive dashboards in tools like Looker, pulling data from diverse sources to fuel hypotheses and business decisions. By researching the AR ecosystem, you'll benchmark our lenses and content against industry leaders, translating complex insights into compelling stories and polished decks for senior leaders. Your work will directly enhance how users discover and interact with AR creations, amplifying Snapchat's role in visual storytelling and real-time connections. We're seeking a proactive analyst passionate about camera technology and AR innovation, with strong analytics experience in consumer tech or media. What You'll Do

• Track, analyze, and interpret engagement metrics for AR content to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Looker or other internal BI tools that provide clear and actionable views of AR content performance for the broader team
• Pull and analyze data from multiple sources to answer business questions, support decision-making, and explore new hypotheses
• Conduct research on the broader AR content ecosystem to inform our approach and performance benchmarks
• Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that are easily understood by non-technical stakeholders
• Create visually polished and insightful decks for senior leadership, showcasing AR content, engagement results, key takeaways, and strategic recommendations
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Strategists to enhance AR experiences on Snapchat
• Monitor camera-driven AR innovations and their impact on user engagement and content discovery
• Identify opportunities to optimize AR lenses and content for Snapchat's global community
• Support cross-functional initiatives in Core Growth, Content, and Augmented Reality teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• 1+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in consumer tech, media, or digital content industries
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver executive-ready visualizations and presentations
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional level experience using Google Spreadsheets and Slides
• Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Experience using SQL
• Basic Jira knowledge
• Experience in AR, consumer tech, or creative content ecosystems

Compensation

$107,000-$161,000 annually

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
