The Specs and Lens Studio Marketing team unites consumer and developer efforts under one creative system, blending storytelling, design, and AR innovation to deliver world-class work. We build the Specs brand from launch to scale, expand the Lens Studio developer ecosystem, and spearhead partnerships and campaigns that redefine cultural experiences through Snap’s AR and camera tech. As Creative Director, you’ll lead the Innovation Studio, Snap’s in-house creative hub fueling Specs and Lens Studio marketing. A hands-on leader who’s conceptual, copy-fluent, and design-savvy, you’ll strategize while diving into craft, shaping ideas from insight to execution and selling breakthrough creative that fuses culture, creativity, and immersive tech like AR, AI, and wearables. You’ll guide a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and conceptual creatives to produce bold storytelling for campaigns, partnerships, and launches. Technically fluent in camera-first innovation, you’ll ensure work connects Snapchat’s visual messaging, Lens Studio’s AR platform, and Spectacles’ wearable future. Responsibilities include leading Specs and Lens Studio campaign concepts, driving flagship partnerships, hands-on copy and design direction, pitching to stakeholders, mentoring talent, and aligning with Global Brand, Comms, and Product teams—all while upholding Snap’s creative excellence across audiences. Snap’s ‘Default Together’ policy emphasizes in-office collaboration 4+ days/week to accelerate culture and innovation. What You'll Do

  • Lead concept development and creative execution for Specs and Lens Studio campaigns
  • Drive creative strategy for flagship partnerships from brief to launch
  • Provide hands-on direction in conception, copywriting, and design
  • Present and pitch breakthrough creative ideas to senior stakeholders and partners
  • Mentor and inspire the Innovation Studio team to uphold storytelling and craft excellence
  • Partner with Global Brand Experience, Comms, and Product teams to align creative with strategic goals
  • Uphold Snap’s creative standards across all consumer and developer-facing work
  • Shape ideas from cultural insights to execution, integrating AR, AI, and camera technology
  • Build bold, high-impact storytelling for product launches and developer ecosystem growth
  • Foster innovation in the in-house creative hub powering Specs and Lens Studio marketing

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of creative experience, including 4+ years in senior or creative leadership roles
  • 2+ years managing multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Portfolio demonstrating world-class conceptual thinking, storytelling, and design direction
  • Proven record leading campaigns from strategy through launch across digital, experiential, and innovation work
  • Experience creating consumer and developer-facing creative content
  • Familiarity with AR, AI, immersive technologies, or interactive innovation campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recognition from top-tier creative or innovation awards
  • Hands-on experience with AR development tools like Lens Studio
