What You'll Do

  • Operate studio cameras, recording systems, calibration tools, and lighting to support high-quality data acquisition for Snap's AR and camera innovations
  • Execute recording sessions per protocols, ensuring accurate script adherence and clear communication with models and teams
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize equipment for generative ML platform workflows
  • Perform data quality checks, evaluations, and improvements to maintain studio standards for Snapchat and Lens Studio data
  • Prepare, edit, archive, and manage recorded materials using software/hardware tools for downstream AR processing
  • Liaise with casting agencies and models to create a productive, comfortable recording environment
  • Maintain daily reports, session summaries, operational documentation, and workflow guidelines
  • Monitor inventory, manage visitor security, and conduct test recordings to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and assist with scheduling and resource coordination
  • Adapt to evolving studio roles to support Snap Product R&D's creative camera technology advancements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ years in photo/video production or studio management
  • Experience working with technical teams or creating technical documentation
  • Master’s degree in media arts, film production, video production, or related field
  • Proficiency in operating studio equipment under strict timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Experience maintaining data quality and performing QC checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video/photo production environments
  • Technical proficiency with video, audio, lighting equipment, and recording workflows
  • Familiarity with editing software and post-production processes
