What You'll Do

  • Develop end-to-end marketing strategy for SMC audiences, driving new advertiser acquisition through high-impact events tied to Snap's camera and AR innovations
  • Identify and execute plans for SMC’s presence at key industry conferences and events aligned with business development and growth goals
  • Lead cross-functional partners such as sales and internal communications to execute owned and operated in-person and virtual events and webinars
  • Collaborate closely with Global Brand Experience to produce events focused on business results, emphasizing Snapchat's creative expression and AR experiences
  • Partner with internal communications to determine event amplification strategies that highlight Snap's mission to empower real-time communication
  • Brief and guide content marketing to produce compelling event narratives aligned with business goals, audience segments, and Snap's fun, innovative culture
  • Monitor and report on key event metrics, including attendance, sales activity, revenue, and AR engagement, to optimize overall event strategy
  • Own project management and contract negotiations related to industry events
  • Travel often domestically and internationally to oversee events and foster advertiser relationships

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years experience in marketing with a focus on events
  • Proven track record in developing marketing strategy for multichannel event programming to meet well-defined business goals
  • Experience working within defined marketing budgets and resources
  • Experience or familiarity in working with the media or digital advertising industry
  • This role will require domestic and international travel
