What You'll Do

  • Lead a high-performing team to build foundational data and analytics capabilities for Snap's ads platform, powering insights into camera-driven AR ads and user engagement
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Business partners to design data tools, visualizations, and dashboards that highlight ads performance tied to Snapchat's creative camera experiences
  • Operationalize key metrics for the ads platform, ensuring consistency and deep understanding to fuel data-driven decisions in our AR innovation ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines using BigQuery and Airflow to support analysis, reporting, and real-time dashboarding for monetization
  • Own the data model, pipelines, schemas, and structures powering Snap's monetization layer, with a focus on ads integrated with camera and AR features
  • Conduct exploratory deep-dive analyses to uncover drivers of revenue and platform performance, delivering actionable insights to leadership
  • Lead root-cause investigations for metric regressions, from proactive detection to resolution with long-term product recommendations enhancing user creativity
  • Build compelling dashboards visualizing ads platform components, emphasizing AR Lenses, Spectacles, and Snapchat's fun, expressive user moments

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of post-Bachelor’s analytics experience; or Master’s degree in a technical field + 9+ years of post-grad analytics experience; or PhD in a related technical field + 6+ years of post-grad analytics experience
  • 1+ years of relevant people management experience leading analytics or engineering teams
  • Hands-on expertise with data warehousing tools, workflow automation, and large-scale data pipelines
  • Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Looker, and Airflow or similar technologies
  • Demonstrated experience owning data models, metrics definitions, and dashboard development for business-critical platforms
  • Strong track record of conducting deep-dive analyses and root-cause investigations driving product and revenue improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree (Master’s or PhD) in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related technical field
