About Snap Inc

Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

About the Role

Snap Inc is a technology company that believes the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. We contribute to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together through our core products: Snapchat, a visual messaging app; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform; and Spectacles, our AR glasses. The Legal & Policy Team serves as Snap’s in-house law firm, policy consultant, and advisor, helping us navigate privacy, product innovation in AR and camera tech, IP, commercial transactions, and more while fostering our creative, inclusive culture rooted in Kind, Smart, and Creative values. We’re seeking a Manager, Compliance Investigations to join our Integrity & Compliance Team in Santa Monica, San Francisco, or Bellevue, ensuring our innovative AR experiences and camera-driven products comply with the highest ethical standards. In this role, you’ll lead case management and investigations, triaging I&C cases, gathering materials from HR, Legal, InfoSec, and business partners, and managing both internal and external investigations with utmost discretion. You’ll conduct interviews, draft findings, recommend remediations, and oversee helpline and case management systems, all while contributing to program improvements tailored to Snap’s fast-paced, creative environment. Your work will safeguard our AR innovations and camera technologies, identifying trends in compliance risks unique to social media and visual communication platforms. You’ll also support Snap’s ethics program by updating policies, handling inquiries, and reviewing conflict disclosures, while producing reports that highlight patterns to mitigate future risks. Reporting to leadership, you’ll help us maintain trust with users who rely on Snapchat for authentic, real-time sharing. With a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in investigations, your team-first mindset will thrive in our 'default together' culture (4+ days/week in office), driving integrity across our AR and camera ecosystem. Snap is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, offering competitive pay (Zone A: $157,000-$235,000 base + RSUs), comprehensive benefits, and a chance to shape the future of creative communication.

  • Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation in all relevant systems for all cases
  • Oversee Snap’s helpline and case management systems
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Snap’s investigations program and procedures
  • Maintain accurate reports of I&C cases and draft case summaries for reporting purposes
