In this role, you'll lead a high-performing team of client engineers crafting user-facing products for Snapchat+ subscribers, collaborating with backend, Product, Design, Data Science, Quality Engineering, and partner teams to ship high-impact features at scale. You'll prioritize rapid execution while ensuring technical excellence, scalability, and seamless integration with Snap's camera technology and AR innovations, fostering a creative culture where engineers thrive. Drive system design for immersive, real-time experiences that enhance how Snapchatters connect, express, and monetize through subscriptions, all while mentoring your team on career growth in our dynamic, fun environment. What You'll Do

  • Lead client engineers for the Revenue+ team that delivers new user-facing products for Snapchat+ subscribers
  • Prioritize and deliver high-impact user-facing features in collaboration with Revenue+ backend team and other feature teams at Snap
  • Balance rapid execution with technical excellence, scalability, and privacy at the forefront
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, Quality Engineering, and partner engineering teams to ensure strategic alignment and high-quality delivery
  • Work closely with engineers on career and personal development, fostering a creative and innovative culture
  • Drive system design and architecture for mobile features that enhance AR experiences and camera innovations on Snapchat
  • Integrate Snapchat+ features with core camera technology and AR lenses to empower user expression and real-time communication
  • Champion Snap's values of moving fast with precision while prioritizing user privacy and global community well-being
  • Mentor engineers in building technically sophisticated products reaching hundreds of millions of Snapchatters daily

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of engineering management experience leading teams in shipping user-facing features
  • Experience in collaborating closely with Product and Data Science throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from spec definition to delivery and iteration
  • Proven ability to lead medium to large size, high-performing engineering teams and deliver impactful, user-facing features in fast-paced environments
  • Deep expertise in mobile development, natively or using cross-platform technologies
  • Strong architectural and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of iOS and client mobile development
  • Subscription or direct revenue experience
  • Proven track record of launching industry-leading features or technologies at scale
