In this role, you'll build and enhance products leveraging Snap's camera and AR technologies, collaborating with product engineering and cross-functional partners to solve business needs at scale. You'll design end-to-end systems for Snapchat integrations, Lens Studio AR creations, and Spectacles innovations, while writing reliable, scalable code in Javascript and open source tech. Use your expertise to influence product roadmaps, deliver high-quality partner engagements, and drive adoption through metrics insights, all while fostering Snap's vibrant, creative community. You'll develop long-term strategies with partners, manage integrations ensuring value creation, and mentor junior team members in our dynamic environment. What You'll Do

• Build new products and improve existing ones leveraging Snap's camera and AR technologies
• Collaborate with Snap product engineering teams and cross-functional partners to meet business needs in AR innovation
• Understand and apply deep knowledge of Snapchat, Lens Studio, Spectacles, products, technologies, and business to solve problems at scale
• Design and build end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategies for AR-powered solutions
• Use broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with partners and independently resolve complex technical and business needs
• Apply expertise and product insight to deliver high-quality project/integration/partner engagements, influencing product roadmaps to meet creative and business needs
• Write and ship reliable, scalable, and efficient code for camera-centric and AR experiences
• Identify and surface insights using metrics on product usage to increase adoption of Snapchat features
• Work with partners to develop long-term strategic plans grounded in business objectives, managing integrations with Snap’s platform products
• Ensure value creation through seamless partner integrations with Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles
• Contribute to partner documentation and foster Snap's creative culture of fun and innovation

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
• 11+ years of experience as a software or solutions engineer shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code
• Experience coding in Javascript, building applications and APIs/SDKs for internal and external developers
• Ability to work with open source technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to mentor and provide guidance to more junior team members
• Experience building and improving solutions in collaboration with engineering, product, and cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements and product roadmaps
• Experience working with large SaaS, PaaS, and cloud platforms and building applications for third-party marketplaces
