Join our Measurement Team as a Marketing Science Specialist for E-commerce based in China, within the Sales department. In this individual contributor role, you'll harness data science to elevate Snap's advertising platform, optimizing AR-powered campaigns that captivate users in real-time moments and boost advertiser ROI in the dynamic China market. You'll partner closely with the China Sales team to craft growth strategies grounded in consumer insights, performance metrics, and industry trends, while leading hands-on measurement studies, experimental designs, and causal analytics for top E-commerce advertisers. Drive performance uplift by testing innovative ad solutions, developing roadmaps for measurement products, and conducting multi-study meta-analyses with Data Science and Product teams to benchmark Snap's camera-centric ads against digital competitors. Your work will scale AR features like interactive Lenses, enhancing user engagement and advertiser value. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and launch new ad products, build measurement advocacy, and provide strategic advice that influences stakeholders. With expertise in SQL, R, Python, econometrics, or A/B testing, you'll turn complex data into actionable recommendations, fostering Snap's creative culture of innovation. What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic measurement advice to internal and external stakeholders while hands-on with measurement study setup and execution
  • Partner with the China Sales team to develop and execute market growth strategy and quarterly goals rooted in consumer research, advertiser performance, and industry knowledge
  • Drive performance improvement across top advertisers using learning-agenda strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy testing in China
  • Lead measurement, research, and learning plans for key clients to support media objectives and long-term partnership growth
  • Develop measurement strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for ads measurement and insights products in the E-commerce vertical
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify, test, and scale new ad products, features, and solutions impacting advertiser value
  • Lead scoping and development of custom multi-study meta-analysis with Data Science and Product teams to compare marketing strategies across digital platforms
  • Build measurement capability and advocacy across E-commerce vertical and cross-functional partners
  • Leverage Snap's camera and AR innovations to enhance advertiser campaigns on Snapchat
  • Analyze ad performance to optimize user engagement through creative, AR-powered experiences

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent years of experience
  • 3-5 years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
  • Experience with ads measurement in user growth and acquisition or eCommerce
  • Understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem
  • Expertise with at least one of the advanced analytical tools (e.g. SQL, R, Python)
  • Subject matter expertise in experimental design (sig testing, power calculation, sample design) or econometrics modeling
  • Strong understanding of market needs in China E-commerce

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, math, statistics, economics, engineering or a related quantitative field
  • Direct work experience with top advertisers, tech publishers within the China market
  • Experience building and influencing client or partner relationships
