We're seeking a Marketing Scientist (DR/Performance focus) to join our Measurement Team and fuel performance marketing innovation in this dynamic, creative environment. In this role, you'll lead performance improvements for key advertisers using advanced causal analytics, experimental design, and prototyping tailored to Snap's AR-powered ads. You'll craft learning agendas and measurement roadmaps for DR-focused clients, partnering with Product and R&D to scale insights that highlight Snapchat's unique camera technology advantages. By developing custom meta-analyses and advocating for measurement best practices, you'll help advertisers unlock the full potential of our platform to drive conversions and business growth. You'll thrive at Snap if you bring expertise in econometric modeling, lift testing, and stats, combined with a passion for creative tech. Collaborate cross-functionally to prototype solutions that integrate Lens Studio AR into performance campaigns, presenting actionable insights to stakeholders. What You'll Do

  • Be the primary driver of performance improvement across advertisers through learning-agenda strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy solution prototyping
  • Lead measurement, research, and learning plans for key DR/Performance-focused clients in support of their media objectives and long-term partnership growth
  • Develop a strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for ads measurement and insights products for your industry or verticals
  • Work closely with Product and R&D teams to identify, prototype, and scale new solutions or capabilities for the broader Marketing Science team
  • Lead the scoping and development of custom multi-study meta-analysis in partnership with Data Science and R&D to understand marketing strategy impacts across digital platforms
  • Build measurement capability and advocacy across your verticals and with cross-functional partners
  • Access, analyze, interpret, and communicate ads performance insights using standard data science tooling
  • Structure and conduct analyses to generate insights and recommendations for advertiser performance on Snap's AR-powered advertising platform
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance ad efficacy leveraging Snapchat's camera technology and Lens Studio innovations
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to drive measurable growth in Snap's creative advertising ecosystem

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
  • Experience with ads measurement
  • Proficiency with advanced analytical tools (e.g. SQL, R, SAS)
  • Understanding of measurement concepts, solutions, and underlying statistical fundamentals in the ads efficacy and measurement ecosystem
  • Subject matter expertise in at least one of: causal inference modeling, econometric modeling, conversion lift testing, geo-lift testing, or sales lift analysis
  • Understanding of applied statistics including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis, and data-mining techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, math, economics, engineering or a related field
  • Direct work experience with top performance advertisers
  • Experience with ads measurement for one or more of the following verticals: ecommerce, retail, technology, telecoms
  • Experience building and influencing client or partner relationships
