In this leadership role, you'll generate conceptual ideas across mediums—from epic brand campaigns and immersive experiences to launches of revolutionary AR features and Spectacles innovations. Drawing on strategic insights and consumer behaviors, you'll craft copy that vividly captures Snap's vision, own project execution from concept to delivery, and elevate creative quality. Lead high-priority initiatives, collaborating with diverse internal teams and external partners to produce innovative campaigns that resonate across markets and disciplines. Thrive in Snap's fast-paced, matrixed environment by navigating complexities, staying ahead of cultural trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging tech like Generative AI. Help define our creative culture within Brand Maker Studio, fostering a 'create, publish, learn' ethos that keeps Snap at the forefront of AR and camera innovation. With 12+ years of copywriting experience and 5+ in leadership, your portfolio of high-impact tech campaigns will drive our mission forward.

What You'll Do

  • Generate and develop conceptual ideas across all mediums for brand campaigns, branded experiences, new product launches, features, and company developments
  • Identify opportunities based on strategic insights and deep understanding of consumer behaviors in camera technology and AR innovation
  • Craft compelling copy solutions that efficiently represent Snap's latest Snapchat features, Lens Studio creations, Spectacles AR glasses, and company milestones
  • Own the craft, execution, and quality elevation of a wide range of copywriting projects
  • Lead high-priority projects from concept through production and delivery
  • Collaborate with and guide diverse internal and external partners to create best-in-class advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Proactively navigate Snap's complex cross-functional marketing organization
  • Stay ahead of competitive landscapes, new technologies, and cultural trends to keep Snap's work innovative
  • Help grow, develop, and define the Brand Maker Studio team's creative culture
  • Experiment with best practices to enhance audience discovery and engagement on Snapchat's global platform

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience as a creative with demonstrable work as a copywriter (in-house, freelance, or agency)
  • 5+ years in a creative leadership role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse successful campaigns and innovative, high-impact projects
  • Experience in B2B and growth marketing within tech and social media
  • Experience thriving in matrixed organizations
  • Deep understanding of popular culture, internet trends, and consumer behaviors
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Generative AI and industry-standard creative tools
  • Creative agency or brand marketing experience
  • Personal history as a Snapchat user
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with AR or camera technology marketing
