Join our creative, fast-paced culture as a Process Technician, Spectacles, L1 on the Manufacturing team, where you'll wear a full cleanroom suit for most of your day, supporting the production of next-gen AR eyewear that brings people closer together. In this hands-on role, you'll contribute to engineering tasks for manufacturing and developing established and new processes critical to Spectacles production. Proactively identify improvements to boost efficiency, yield, and cut costs, while assisting in rapid introduction of stable new technologies. Respond to process issues with on-shift containment, investigation, and resolution, serving as the process engineering rep during off-hours. Liaise with supervisors and technicians to prioritize production, monitor processes, and ensure seamless handoffs via reporting systems, all while fostering a safety culture aligned with ISO standards. We're seeking a proactive technician with cleanroom experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for AR innovation in Snap's vibrant, collaborative environment. You'll train operators, analyze data using SPC, and escalate issues timely, thriving without direct supervision in our 'Default Together' office (4+ days/week). What You'll Do

  • Support and maintain production processes in the Spectacles cleanroom manufacturing environment
  • Contribute to engineering tasks for continuous process development and optimization
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, yield, and reduce costs
  • Assist in developing new processes and technologies for rapid introduction with stable yield
  • Ensure engineering principles and procedures are adhered to in fabrication and test areas
  • Respond to out-of-control events, perform containment, investigation, diagnosis, and resolution
  • Act as process engineering representative during off-shift hours for all processing areas
  • Provide feedback and communication using recognized reporting systems for issue continuity
  • Liaise with shift supervisors and technicians to address production priorities urgently
  • Monitor, update, and present production process status information
  • Contribute to training Operators and fellow technicians
  • Develop a positive safety and environmental culture per ISO standards and escalate issues timely

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience as a process technician in a fabrication, cleanroom, or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in cleanrooms and in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing and engineering principles
  • Good understanding of statistical process control techniques
  • Capable of analyzing data, predicting trends, and recommending adjustments
  • Knowledge of scientific experimentation techniques
  • Proactive and capable of working without direct supervision
  • Ability to prioritize time and focus on priority issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in a team environment
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances
