We’re seeking a Residential Security Officer to join our Executive Protection team, ensuring a safe environment that allows our innovative teams to push the boundaries of AR and camera technology without distraction. In this role, you’ll monitor security measures at a private family residence, working closely with the Protective Services team to safeguard family members, executives, and colleagues in both business and social settings. Your responsibilities include access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring, incident logging, and rapid response to breaches—all while fostering a secure backdrop for Snap’s creative culture. You’ll provide protection during dynamic, physically demanding activities, embodying the agility needed to match the fast-paced innovation at Snap. What You'll Do

• Monitor a variety of security measures to ensure safety at a private family residence
• Work closely with the Protective Services team, interacting daily with family members, corporate executives, and colleagues in business and social environments
• Perform access control and ensure all security procedures are completed accurately
• Conduct patrols and inspections in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor Snap’s CCTV system for real-time threat detection and response
• Prevent unauthorized access to prohibited areas
• Maintain accurate records of any incidents that occur
• Handle ad hoc duties as needed to support residential security operations
• Address security breaches within defined protocols swiftly and professionally
• Provide protective coverage during physically demanding activities such as running, jumping, or lifting
• Collaborate with the Global Security Organization to uphold Snap’s Duty of Care

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the military, law enforcement, or a public/private sector security organization or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to pass a background and driving record check
• Valid BSIS Guard Card
• Valid BSIS Firearms Permit
• Ability to work any assigned shift, including flexibility for dynamic schedules
• Comfortable standing for several hours and walking up to 5 miles per shift

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent years of experience
• Previous Residential Security experience
• Lifeguard and basic medical / first-aid background
• Passion for Snap Inc and its products like Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles
• Experience in high-profile executive protection environments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of security operations and procedures
• Knowledge and familiarity with computers and security equipment including CCTV systems
• Ability to work comfortably in a team environment as well as individually
• Flexibility to work any assigned shift in a dynamic environment
• Ability to think and respond quickly to changing situations
• Physical stamina to stay on feet for hours and engage in taxing activities (running, jumping, crawling, bending, lifting)
• Comfortable working in a family-friendly environment
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with family members, executives, and senior colleagues
• Access control and patrol execution
• Incident reporting and documentation
• Protocol adherence during security breaches
• Basic medical/first-aid knowledge (preferred but supportive)
• Driving proficiency and vehicle operation
