Our Global Security team creates safe environments worldwide, enabling team members to innovate in camera technology and AR at our Los Angeles, CA location. We're seeking a Residential Security Officer to join our Protective Services team, ensuring a secure home for senior executives amid our fast-paced creative culture. In this role, you will implement and lead a comprehensive residential security program, monitoring CCTV from a 24/7 Command Post, conducting patrols, managing access control, and responding discreetly to incidents. You'll liaise with household staff and stakeholders to integrate security into daily operations and events, mentor junior officers, and maintain meticulous logs, schedules, and reports using Windows and iOS tools. Your sharp judgment and diplomacy will shine in interactions with VIPs, supporting Snap's mission to foster creativity and innovation without distraction from security concerns. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, prioritizing safety and customer service while embracing Snap's 'Default Together' policy (4+ days/week in office). What You'll Do

• Implement, manage, and help lead a comprehensive residential security program providing a safe and secure home environment for senior executives, family members, and guests
• Greet and receive guests in a professional, discreet, and respectful manner
• Monitor CCTV and security technologies in a 24/7 Command Post
• Implement access control procedures and conduct foot patrols
• Receive and inspect deliveries, and execute other procedures to maintain 24-hour security for residential properties
• Communicate effectively and politely; maintain detailed, accurate logs; draft and update standard operating procedures
• Create and maintain complex shift schedules, multiple electronic calendars, and track official expenses and transaction reports
• Liaise with household staff, contractors, event staff, and stakeholders to ensure security procedures are followed in daily functions and events
• Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies, and other incidents
• Assist with incident and disaster planning and response; conduct drills, maintain inventories, and test equipment
• Mentor and develop junior Residential Security Officers

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience in residential or executive security, law enforcement, or the military
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to pass a background and driving record check
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card
• Valid California BSIS Firearms Permit
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently, and for long periods of time; ability to lift luggage, equipment and other heavy items
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of residential security, executive protection, operations center and/or command post experience
• 3+ years experience in the military, law enforcement, or a public/private sector security organization or equivalent
• Prior medical and trauma training and certifications
• Valid California CCW

Compensation

$66,000-$98,000 annually
