We're looking for a Residential Security Officer to join our Global Security Protective Services team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will implement, manage, and help lead a comprehensive residential security program, providing a safe and secure home environment for senior executives, family members, and guests. You will monitor CCTV and security technologies from a 24/7 Command Post, implement access control, conduct foot patrols, inspect deliveries, and maintain detailed logs and procedures. Liaising with household staff, contractors, and event teams, you will ensure security integrates seamlessly into daily operations and special events, all while responding discreetly to incidents and mentoring junior officers. Your work will support Snap's innovative culture, protecting the creative minds behind our AR advancements and camera technologies. You are a professional with acute attention to detail, strong judgment, and advanced communication skills, comfortable with VIP interactions and adaptable to 12-hour shifts. What You'll Do

• Implement, manage, and help lead a comprehensive residential security program providing a safe and secure home environment for senior executives, family members, and guests
• Greet and receive guests in a professional, discreet, and respectful manner
• Monitor CCTV and security technologies in a 24/7 Command Post
• Implement access control procedures and conduct foot patrols
• Receive and inspect deliveries, and execute other procedures to maintain 24-hour security for residential properties
• Communicate effectively and politely; maintain detailed, accurate logs; draft and update standard operating procedures
• Create and maintain complex shift schedules, multiple electronic calendars, and track official expenses and transaction reports
• Liaise with household staff, contractors, event staff, and stakeholders to ensure security procedures are followed in daily functions and events
• Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies, and other incidents
• Assist with incident and disaster planning and response; conduct drills, maintain inventories, and test equipment
• Mentor and develop junior Residential Security Officers

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience in residential or executive security, law enforcement, or the military
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to pass a background and driving record check
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card
• Valid California BSIS Firearms Permit
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently, and for long periods of time; ability to lift luggage, equipment and other heavy items
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of residential security, executive protection, operations center and/or command post experience
• 3+ years experience in the military, law enforcement, or a public/private sector security organization or equivalent
• Prior medical and trauma training and certifications
• Valid California CCW

Compensation

$66,000-$98,000 annually
