About Snap Inc

Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

About the Role

Snap Inc is a technology company that believes the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. We contribute to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together through our core products: Snapchat, a visual messaging app; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform; and Spectacles, our AR glasses. Join our Global Security team in Palo Alto as a Security Program Specialist, Operations, where you'll safeguard the innovative environment that drives our camera technology and AR breakthroughs. Reporting to the Americas Regional Security Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for security matters, using sound judgment to support all Global Security functions and foster a safe space for our creative teams. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to promote a secure workplace, provide event security for Snap's exciting product launches, and serve as the escalation point for incidents, emergencies, and alarms—coordinating seamlessly with our Global Security Operations Center. You'll execute security vendor contracts, conduct training aligned with our Security Awareness program, and assist in developing physical security plans for new projects, ensuring they are dynamic and balanced to protect our AR innovations. Routine inspections, detailed reporting, and metrics will keep our operations running smoothly in our fast-paced, 24/7 creative culture. We're seeking a resilient professional with excellent leadership and communication skills, familiarity with security tech like cameras and access control, and the flexibility for non-traditional schedules. With 2-3 years in security or related fields, CPR certification, and local credentials, you'll thrive independently and in teams. Preferred experience in tech security, vendor management, or systems like Lenel and Genetec is a plus. Snap's 'default together' policy means 4+ days in-office to build our vibrant culture. We offer competitive pay (Zone A: $89,000-$133,000 base + RSUs), comprehensive benefits, and a chance to secure the future of AR and camera tech. Snap is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
