You'll launch enterprise-wide programs with high adoption, leveraging metrics to prove impact on protecting user data in real-time camera experiences. From automating inefficient processes to leading high-stakes projects independently, you'll remove roadblocks and influence stakeholders across Snap to prioritize security amid our 'move fast with precision' ethos. What You'll Do

  • Embed security and privacy by default into Snap's camera-driven products, AR innovations, and creative workflows to protect hundreds of millions of Snapchatters
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and AR teams to drive adoption of security best practices, tools, and architectures with measurable outcomes
  • Build and scale company-wide security and privacy programs with high adoption rates across Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles
  • Develop and track metrics to provide actionable insights into security program effectiveness
  • Identify and deliver optimizations or automations for manual security processes in a high-velocity environment
  • Lead major security projects independently, removing ambiguity and ensuring success amid Snap's fast-paced culture
  • Collaborate with internal security teams, product groups, and global partners to safeguard user data in real-time AR experiences
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize security in every product decision and release cycle
  • Generate reports and dashboards that highlight security posture for leadership, tying back to Snap's mission of fun, expressive communication
  • Champion privacy in camera and AR technologies, ensuring compliance while fostering creativity and innovation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience in security advisory, technical program management, or security solution delivery
  • Proven experience running critical security programs with measurable impact
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams to drive large-scale security projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority
  • Depth of knowledge in information security concepts, principles, and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing NIST CSF 2.0, NIS2, or ISO 27001 frameworks
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent
  • Background in tech companies focused on consumer-facing products like social media or AR platforms
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations in camera and AR technologies
  • Experience automating security processes in fast-paced, innovative environments
