As a Senior Client Partner - Government & Politics in our Sales department, you'll drive revenue by forging strategic partnerships with government agencies, political campaigns, and organizations, helping them harness Snapchat's camera-first, AR-driven platform to engage citizens innovatively and effectively. In this role, you'll identify high-impact opportunities, consult on tailored media strategies using Snap's vertical playbooks, and own client relationships at the senior level. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns that leverage Snapchat's ephemeral, visual format for political storytelling, voter outreach, and public service announcements, while educating partners on AR best practices via Lens Studio. Balancing revenue growth, innovation, and a learning agenda, you'll develop compelling sales propositions backed by data, trends, and case studies demonstrating Snap's creative edge in government and politics advertising. You'll thrive in Snap's fast-paced, creative culture by owning account strategies, crafting persuasive presentations, and mentoring juniors, all while delivering exceptional service. With a 'Default Together' policy expecting 4+ days in-office for dynamic collaboration, you'll contribute to a diverse team building products that redefine communication. What You'll Do

  • Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities with government and political organizations to drive revenue on Snapchat
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies, political campaigns, and related entities to expand their presence on Snapchat's camera-first platform
  • Use a consultative approach to offer strategic media solutions tailored to government and politics verticals, including campaign goals, learning agendas, and best practices for AR-powered advertising
  • Act as the business owner for key partnerships, engaging senior stakeholders in government and political spheres
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams and clients to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives leveraging Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles
  • Educate clients on Snapchat products, AR innovations, and best practices for visual storytelling in political engagement
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned government and politics book of business, balancing innovation, learning, and revenue growth
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and Snap's AR capabilities
  • Own planning and development of senior client meeting agendas, ensuring alignment with Snap's creative culture
  • Develop metrics to measure account growth and performance, providing reports and recommendations for enhancements
  • Mentor junior team members and implement best practices for client interaction in the government and politics sector

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales, and/or online advertising experience
  • Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing
  • Deep knowledge of self-serve platforms, auction, and biddable forms of digital advertising buying
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong existing relationships with top marketing decision makers for brands and their agencies
  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Proven track record of growing top-to-bottom relationships with both clients and agencies
