What You'll Do

  • Serve as a key business partner to Snap's creative and AR teams, driving actionable insights and analytics to achieve financial objectives in camera technology and augmented reality innovation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support decision-making processes, providing insights that translate into strategic recommendations for Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to develop insightful forecasting, reporting, and drive actionable insights for key leaders in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Enhance visibility into business operations for AR and camera-focused teams, improving reporting fidelity and recommending investment decisions
  • Build sophisticated financial models to optimize investments and support forecasts for supported business areas like visual messaging and AR platforms
  • Develop and streamline FP&A processes to mitigate risk, uncover value, and fuel Snap's mission to empower creative expression
  • Create analysis and tools to track business results, delivering value to Finance leadership and enabling data-driven decisions in real-time communication tech

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in finance or FP&A, or 3+ years with an MBA or equivalent degree
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills, with experience building input-driven models that translate business problems into financial analysis
  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting, with ability to forecast intricacies within the income statement
  • Experience partnering with senior executives on business operations, financial planning, and forecasting
  • Proficiency with operating financial tools such as Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar platforms
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in tech or digital media industries, particularly camera technology or AR innovation
  • Very strong analytical skills with experience in Looker, SQL, and Tableau
  • MBA or other Master’s degree in a quantitative field
