Owning the end-to-end research process—from scoping and recruiting to moderating sessions, synthesizing findings, and delivering compelling presentations—you'll turn user voices into actionable strategies that enhance ad relevance, AR creativity, and product delight. Be the champion for users in a company obsessed with fun, authenticity, and real-time expression. We're seeking a seasoned researcher with a passion for behavioral science and UX who thrives in Snap's dynamic environment. You'll evangelize user-centered practices across teams, present to Senior leadership, and drive insights that shape the future of ads on Snapchat. What You'll Do

  • Identify research needs by collaborating closely with PM, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Growth teams on Snapchat's Ads products
  • Craft comprehensive research plans using mixed methods tailored to camera technology, AR innovations, and ad experiences
  • Own the full research lifecycle: defining objectives, recruiting diverse participants, moderating sessions, synthesizing data, and presenting insights
  • Partner with Design, Growth, Product Management, and Data Science to execute studies informing ad product development and emerging AR technologies
  • Clearly articulate actionable product and design insights to influence Snapchat's creative, user-centric ad ecosystem
  • Advocate fiercely for the user, promoting user-centered design and usability in Snap's camera-driven, fun-focused culture
  • Conduct studies highlighting solutions for ad growth, AR-powered ads, and innovative camera features
  • Evangelize research findings across cross-functional teams to foster Snap's collaborative, innovative environment
  • Present research to Senior Management, driving strategic decisions for Snapchat's Ads and Growth initiatives
  • Analyze user behaviors in real-time visual messaging and AR contexts to optimize ad performance and engagement

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in applied behavioral science, human-computer interaction, psychology, design, or a similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience conducting UX product research in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Experience designing mixed-method research studies, analyzing results, and delivering reports with actionable product and design insights
  • Solid understanding of UX research methods and ability to articulate study designs to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Data Science teams to drive product strategy
  • Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and deliver them successfully
  • Comfortable presenting research findings to Senior Management
