Site Systems and Infrastructure Manager

Location: Abingdon, United States

Employment Type: Full time

About Snap Inc

Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

About the Role

Snap Inc is a camera company that believes AR will transform how people connect and create. Our products empower people to express themselves authentically through Snapchat, Lens Studio’s AR platform, and Spectacles—our standalone AR glasses powered by Snap OS that make playing, learning, and working better together. Join the Spectacles team in Abingdon, UK, as our Site Systems and Infrastructure Manager, where you’ll pioneer controlled environments that fuel cutting-edge AR hardware innovation. In this leadership role, you’ll partner with CBRE, Security, IT, and EHS to deliver world-class facilities supporting cleanrooms, specialist labs, and manufacturing expansion for next-gen camera and AR tech. You’ll own end-to-end systems operations across 12 critical elements—from safety/compliance and HVAC to maintenance/reliability—acting as the authoritative expert. Design and maintain N+1 redundant systems for specialist gases, exhaust, liquids, electrical, mechanical, and controls, ensuring optimal cleanroom conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality) that enable Spectacles’ boundary-pushing AR capabilities. Oversee hazardous gases as Appointed Person, eliminate single points of failure, and drive data-focused corrective actions for BMS and life safety to support scalable growth in our creative, high-stakes environment. Proactive and systems-oriented, you’ll manage outsourced engineering, budgets, and R&D support while ensuring compliance with UK/EU standards and Snap’s global policies. Thrive in our dynamic culture of innovation, where you’ll future-proof infrastructure for AR expansion and collaborate across teams to keep our Abingdon site safe, efficient, and ready for what’s next. Snap’s ‘default together’ policy means 4+ days in-office to spark creativity and reinforce our values. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to diverse voices driving human progress through AR and camera technology.
