Join the AR/Gen AI Product team as a Technical Project Lead to drive innovation in camera-first AR experiences that connect users globally. As Technical Project Lead, you will lead and implement processes to accelerate key AR program initiatives, managing complex technical projects that span multiple functional areas. Focus on Lens Experience programs like Distribution, Delivery, Ranking, Creator Success, and Partnerships, while adapting to new camera and AR innovations. Represent the team's voice in executive reviews, planning, and launches, ensuring decisions are made swiftly to enhance Snapchat's creative ecosystem. Perform risk and scope management, align cross-functional teams, and operationalize project impact to fuel AR growth. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and creative stakeholders to build strategies and playbooks, planning high-value meetings to socialize progress. Provide hands-on management through all development phases, from analysis to post-release, while maintaining tracking systems for program health. What You'll Do

  • Lead, implement, define, and maintain organizational processes that accelerate key program initiatives in AR and camera technology
  • Manage and deliver complex technical projects requiring coordinated effort from multiple functional areas for Snapchat's Lens experiences
  • Drive and define operational programs for Lens Distribution, Delivery, Ranking, Creator Success, Partnerships, and emerging AR innovations
  • Represent the team in key decisions, executive business reviews, planning sessions, product roadmap tracking, and launches
  • Identify decisions required to advance projects, determine decision makers, and ensure timely resolutions to maximize impact
  • Perform risk management, scope management, identify blockers, and drive areas for improvement
  • Ensure teams are aligned, project impact is operationalized, and evaluated properly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to tackle blockers and build program strategy and playbooks
  • Plan and execute high-value cross-team meetings to socialize information across the organization
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, release, and post-release phases
  • Build and maintain systems for tracking key program health in AR/Gen AI initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operations or technical product/program/project management experience
  • Fluency with common operational tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, Excel, Slack, Quip
  • Track record of providing program management and operational excellence during all phases of software development from kick-off to ship
  • Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure, and organizations
  • Experience leading initiatives with a global footprint on software products and complex systems at scale
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience building relationships with stakeholders and teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in software development or engineering supporting large organizations of 500+ people
  • Project Management/TPM experience in Social Media, AR, Game Development, or Media Content Distribution
  • Project Management experience working on large scale projects with large cross-functional teams (including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Content Production)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
