About Snap Inc

Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

About the Role

Snap Inc is a camera company at heart, pioneering the future of AR innovation through Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles. We empower people to live in the moment, express themselves creatively, and connect authentically in a visual world. As a Trust & Safety Specialist on Team Snapchat, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our vibrant community of Snapchatters, ensuring their AR experiences—from ephemeral Snaps to immersive Lenses—are safe, fun, and free from harm. In our creative, fast-paced culture, you'll tackle sensitive content with poise, collaborate with AR engineers and product teams, and proactively enhance policies that protect users engaging with camera-driven features. Your days will blend high-stakes decision-making with innovative problem-solving: reviewing abuse reports, escalating trends in fraud or spam affecting AR content, and refining workflows to keep pace with Snap's evolving tech. You'll mentor teammates, deliver training on safety best practices, and partner with vendors to maintain top-tier efficiency. With a keen eye for data, you'll spot patterns in user behavior across Snapchat's visual messaging and Spectacles' AR capabilities, driving initiatives that amplify our commitment to trust. We're seeking a utility player who thrives in our 'Default Together' environment—working 4+ days a week in-office to spark ideas and build culture. If you bring excellent judgment, agility with competing priorities, and passion for camera technology's role in human connection, join us to keep Snapchat the safest place for creative expression. Snap is an equal opportunity employer, offering robust benefits like comprehensive health coverage, mental health support, paid parental leave, and equity in our mission to advance AR for all.

What You'll Do

  • Drive improvement initiatives by contributing to policy development and workflow enhancements
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on team members' work to elevate performance
  • Develop, deliver, and update training materials for Trust & Safety operations
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to ensure high-quality processing of safety requests
  • Improve support resources, documentation, and tools for Snapchatters and internal teams
  • Analyze safety data to identify patterns and recommend proactive measures
