Role Overview

As a Principal Designated Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delighting your designated customer(s) with your passion and knowledge of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will develop a strong understanding of their use cases and how they leverage the Snowflake platform. Your expertise will enable them to achieve the highest levels of continuity and performance from their Snowflake implementation. You will be an integral part of a cross-functional team focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. A Day in the Life

  • Morning: Start your day by reviewing open support cases for your designated accounts. Prioritize urgent issues and collaborate with internal teams to find solutions. Participate in a daily stand-up meeting with the Priority Support team to share updates and discuss challenges.
  • Mid-day: Connect with your designated customers for scheduled touchpoints. Provide executive-level technical briefings, discuss upcoming features, and gather feedback. Work with Technical Account Managers to prepare for weekly account reviews.
  • Afternoon: Dive deep into complex technical challenges. Utilize the Snowflake environment, connectors, and 3rd party partner software to investigate issues. Document bugs and feature requests arising from customer-submitted requests and work with Engineering toward a resolution.
  • Evening: Monitor system performance and address any critical issues that arise. Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during weekends and holidays (as needed).
