Senior (Staff) Penetration Tester - Snowflake - Warsaw, Poland

Role Overview

Snowflake is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior (Staff) Penetration Tester to join our growing security team in Warsaw, Poland. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the security of our cloud-based data platform, which is used by enterprises around the world. You will be responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in our software, systems, and networks, as well as developing tools and methodologies to improve our overall security posture. This position has two potential paths, with responsibilities tailored to each: Path 1 - Red Team Engagement: Develop tools, methodologies and infrastructure to support Red Team engagements in a variety of cloud environments and novel platforms. Participate in red team engagements against a diverse cloud environment and find vulnerabilities in software, systems, and networks. Set scope, objectives, and timelines for red team engagements and leverage data to create useful metrics. Work with security and engineering teams to communicate findings, recommendations, and knowledge to key stakeholders. Play a critical role in building a Red Team that has a wide scope and impact. Path 2 - Vulnerability Research and Development: Lead Snowflake's offensive security team. Penetrate Snowflake's systems and find security flaws before adversaries do. Work with threat hunters to ensure discovered vulnerabilities, and similar variations, do not recur. Present empirical evidence of vulnerabilities.
