• Drive period close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting.
• Implement and monitor Global Control Standard (GCS) internal controls for financial reporting, purchase-to-pay, and sales-to-collect processes in collaboration with HQ Internal Audit.
• Manage statutory financial statements, tax returns (income tax, GST, BAS, FBT, withholding tax, transfer pricing), and annual US tax data packages, ensuring full compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
• Coordinate external and internal audits, maintaining strong alignment with PepsiCo's group governance and documentation requirements.
• Coach and mentor the accounting operations team (AR/AP/inventory accountants), fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence.
• Support the Head of Finance in process automation, improvement initiatives, and ad hoc HQ requests.

Qualifications & Requirements
