What are my responsibilities?

• Software development activities for industrial automation projects (TIA Portal)
• Software design, implementation, unit tests, debugging and release tasks in a multi-site, international software development environment
• Producing high quality project deliverables
• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards, and guidelines
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile (Scrum) development team

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with C# programming.
• Solid understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, analysis, and design.
• Commitment to following development best practices and crafting high-quality, maintainable code.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Collaborative team player who actively contributes to team/unit objectives
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Motivated to use AI development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for enhanced productivity and continuous learning.
• Eager to learn Industrial Automation domain know-how and Siemens-specific technologies.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal product
