Work in cross-functional "squads" alongside product managers, designers, analysts, and researchers, each focused on a single key metric like retention. This New York-based position offers Flexible or In-Office models and clear career progression toward Senior Software Engineer.
Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
As a Software Engineer 3, Atlas Growth, you'll make immediate impact on MongoDB's flagship cloud platform:
- Deliver production-ready, well-tested code for customer-facing Atlas features
- Author detailed technical specifications and project scopes for manager-assigned initiatives
- Lead small teams of 2-3 engineers, driving projects from concept to deployment
- Conduct thorough code reviews and documentation reviews across the Growth organization
- Partner with Product Management to identify and execute feature improvements
- Handle production support triage and participate in on-call rotation
- Build features leveraging MongoDB's document model and Atlas experimentation platform
- Optimize database queries and performance for scale

Qualifications & Requirements
