Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
- Architect and implement data migration engines handling real-time synchronization from SQL databases to MongoDB
- Build generative AI orchestration platforms for automated code generation and schema conversion
- Develop scalable streaming data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Debezium CDC
- Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and fault tolerance in distributed environments
- Design sophisticated orchestration layers integrating AI capabilities with migration workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, AI researchers, and frontend engineers

- 2+ years in backend systems, distributed systems, or platform development
- Expertise in Java ecosystem (Spring Boot preferred) with systems programming knowledge
- Production experience with Apache Kafka and Change Data Capture (Debezium)
- Deep knowledge of relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and SQL optimization
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and performance characteristics
