Role Overview

As a Software Engineer in our Getting Data In (GDI) team, you'll develop the Falcon LogScale Collector—a critical component for large-scale data ingestion in our security and observability platform. Based in our Aarhus, Denmark office, this role requires commuting 3 days a week. Join a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team building a product trusted by thousands of organizations. The collector runs seamlessly on Windows, Linux, and macOS, interfacing with diverse data sources and log formats.

Key Responsibilities

Core Development Tasks

Develop the high-performance collector client using Go. Contribute to our backend platform in Scala. Take end-to-end ownership of products from conception to deployment.

Systems Design and Optimization

Design and implement distributed systems handling massive data volumes. Drive performance optimization and reliability improvements. Conduct cross-platform development and testing.

Team Collaboration

Work with friendly, knowledgeable colleagues in a collaborative environment. Contribute to a strong team culture built on trust, relationships, and knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of professional software development. Strong programming skills in Go, Scala, or similar languages. Experience with modern CI/CD practices and tools. System-level programming knowledge.
