Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II in the Falcon for IT Group (Hybrid in London), you'll join the cloud engineering team building, deploying, and monitoring the core of the Falcon for IT module. This newest product helps IT and Security teams query their entire endpoint fleet to tackle infrastructure, apps, and endpoint challenges. It synergizes with our Charlotte AI for faster issue identification and remediation, and works alongside our lightweight Sensor—a driver on client machines that detects malicious behavior and streams telemetry to the cloud. You'll design and implement large-scale, highly performant microservices, collaborating with UI, Sensor teams, Product Management, and SRE. Ideal for engineers eager to grow in cybersecurity and IT automation at scale.

Tech Stack Highlights

Work with Golang, Python, Node.js (front-end), AWS, Kafka/Redis, Kubernetes/Docker, Opensearch/ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL/Cassandra, and Linux in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, bring:

• 3+ years of industry experience building backend modules for distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Golang (or Java, C#, Python).
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• Experience building cloud-based solutions, preferably at scale.
• Ability to collaborate in dynamic, fast-paced team settings.
