Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve hands-on engineering to accelerate AI adoption at Nike:

• Develop end-to-end ML pipelines emphasizing production reliability and scalability.
• Implement robust testing, validation, and automated evaluation frameworks for ML models.
• Establish best practices for model versioning, reproducibility, and monitoring using MLOps/LLMOps.
• Build and optimize production-grade ML models, including supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning architectures like CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, and transformers.
• Develop custom NLP solutions for text preprocessing, tokenization, embeddings, sentiment analysis, NER, and anomaly detection.
• Manage ML infrastructure on Databricks (preferred) or AWS SageMaker, ensuring cost optimization and efficiency.
• Maintain data quality, pipeline efficiency, security, and compliance for ML systems.
• Evangelize AI adoption across Nike teams to unlock automation opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2-5 years of production experience in AI/ML model development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Proven expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP tasks, and LLM fine-tuning/deployment.
• Strong background in data science, cloud-based AI/ML services (Databricks preferred, AWS SageMaker).
• Advanced programming in Python, SQL, and automation frameworks; hands-on with PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers.
• Expertise in MLOps/LLMOps for scalable model management.
• Experience in machine learning (supervised/unsupervised), deep learning, and data processing tools like Pandas, NumPy, Spark.
• Good-to-have: DevOps skills in Docker, Kubernetes, DVC for model versioning and monitoring.
