You'll work closely with sales executives, taking ownership of technical success including software design, deployment, and operations. Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance applications and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB Atlas for large-scale projects.
• Advise customers on optimal MongoDB architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and clearly articulate business value to stakeholders.
• Partner with sales teams to drive account success through planning, opportunity prioritization, technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-value (POV).
• Generate demand in your territory via self-driven technical initiatives, trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
• Build strong customer relationships, create champions, and ensure ongoing success and satisfaction post-deployment.
• Lead technical aspects of deals including presentations, sizing, documentation, and end-to-end deal execution.
• Innovate by relaying field insights to product teams and mentoring fellow Solutions Consultants.
• Review existing application architectures and provide expert guidance on modernization with MongoDB NoSQL and cloud technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal Solutions Architect candidate brings hands-on experience with modern data platforms. Required qualifications include:

• 5-8 years industry experience, including 2+ years in customer-facing roles.
• 2+ years professional experience with scripting (Python, Node.js, SQL) or languages (Java, C#, C++).
• Proven track record implementing scalable distributed systems in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-prem.
• Ability to analyze complex architectures and recommend improvements using MongoDB and related technologies.
• Outstanding communication skills to present technical/business concepts to C-level executives.
• Cross-functional sales team collaboration for complete deal cycles.
• Up to 25% travel willingness and fluency in German and English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Cloud provider experience, technical pre-sales, database programming, AI/ML projects, sales methodologies (MEDDPICC), MongoDB/Cloud certifications.
