Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

As a Solutions Architect, you'll drive technical success across the entire sales lifecycle:

• Design & Architect: Create scalable, high-performance applications and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB Atlas for enterprise-grade projects.
• Customer Advisory: Guide customers on optimal MongoDB architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and clearly articulate business value to stakeholders.
• Sales Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams on account planning, opportunity prioritization, technical discovery, demos, proofs of value, and deal execution.
• Demand Generation: Proactively generate pipeline through self-driven technical initiatives, industry trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
• Technical Leadership: Conduct architecture reviews of existing applications and provide modernization roadmaps using MongoDB's developer data platform.
• Customer Success: Build champions, foster long-term relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction post-deployment.
• Innovation Driver: Relay field feedback to product teams and continuously improve MongoDB solutions and processes.
• Team Mentorship: Proactively mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal Solutions Architect candidate brings:

• 5-8 years of industry experience, including 2+ years in customer-facing roles
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Python, Node.js, SQL, Java, C#, or C++ in professional settings
• Proven track record implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments
• Demonstrated success reviewing complex architectures and guiding modernization with modern data platforms
• Exceptional presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to C-level executives
• Experience collaborating with sales teams through complete deal cycles
• Fluency in German and English (mandatory for Frankfurt role)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications: MongoDB certification, cloud provider certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure), database programming experience, AI/ML projects, or sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.
