The Consulting Business Line at Sopra Steria is a team of over 160 consultants in Belgium with extensive expertise in Digital Transformation. Recognized as a preferred digital partner, we collaborate with leading Belgian organizations across the Public Sector, Financial Services, and Industry. Our consulting services span IT Advisory, Architecture, Organizational Transformation & Change, Operational Excellence, Sustainability & Ethics and Innovation as a Service.  

Your primary focus will be client engagements, which will constitute the majority of your time. These engagements may involve working as part of high-performing teams embedded within client organizations or contributing to Sopra Steria’s fixed-price Consulting projects within multidisciplinary teams. 

As a Consultant, you will contribute, as an integral member of the project team, to consulting assignments, you work closely with the client to listen and analyse their needs, you contribute to sales processes (spotting opportunities and drafting offers), and contributes to knowledge sharing within the organisation. On specific projects, your responsibilities may include business and functional analysis, project management, architectural design and Agile/Scrum facilitation.

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following:   

Education: you recently completed (or will soon complete) your Master education. Any Master where IT/Business/Economics/Management topics were positioned centrally are relevant. 

Experience: a first experience in Business/IT Consulting or any other relevant domain is a strong plus. No experience yet, but freshly graduated and highly motivated? We will definitely consider that as well! 

Business & IT: strong affinity and interest in digitalization, IT and technology, combined with a strong business acumen to build bridges between business and IT. 

Areas of Expertise: any skills obtained in one or more of the following domains is a plus: IT Advisory (Target Operating Models), Project Management, Business/Functional Analysis, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Architectural Design, ESG, or Product Management. 

Consulting Mindset: strong ability to build and maintain trustworthy client relationships, familiarity with business development approaches, and a strong connection to the Consulting "motherhouse." 

Languages: you are fluent in Dutch or French, have a good understanding of the other language, and are also fluent in English.
