As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing technical and functional requirements, working on improving the current software solution. You will be part of a mixed agile team composed of designers, developers and testers.
Responsibilities / Tasks
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen and strong communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Use of statistical techniques and data mining methodologies to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models to ensure effective data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to database design, including data collection mechanisms, data warehousing and data integration strategies.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure that the infrastructure supports the required data analytics capabilities.
- Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and performance metrics, transactional and behavioural data analytics.
- Present findings to business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
5+ years of IT experience. Hands-on experience in data analysis / business analysis / reporting.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques such as SQL, Python, R or similar programming languages.
- Experience in ETL tools.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Strong proficiency in DBT (data builder tool) for data transformation.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and database design principles.
SoftSkills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
- Experience with effective communication at different levels of the organisation and in English.
