As Specialist II, Retail Brand Marketing, GBY GC, you'll be at the heart of Nike's retail offense in Guangzhou. This full-time role focuses on translating city energy into compelling in-store stories, activations, and consumer experiences. Reporting to the GSH & GBAY City Retail Marketing team, you'll partner with Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Nike Direct, and external stakeholders to ensure flawless execution. Collaborate with City Marketing and Geo Retail teams to create and execute seasonal campaigns tailored for Nike stores, infusing Guangzhou's unique distinction into service, experience, and activations.
Brief, plan, and deliver in-store marketing tied to key local events like the Shanghai Marathon, CSL championships, SH Master, and athlete tours, amplifying brand relevance.
Support planning for store events across concepts and fleets, including new door openings and anniversaries. Forge strategic partnerships with accounts and landlords for CRM-leveraged co-marketing.
Work seamlessly with internal teams (Geo Retail Brand, EKIN, Retail Elevation) and externals (partners, agencies, vendors) to land retail brand strategies with precision.
To succeed, bring 3-5 years in retail marketing, brand marketing, or activations—multinational experience preferred. Hold a Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, retail trend savvy, and a proactive mindset for ambiguous scenarios. Native insight into GSH/GBAY retail, consumer prefs, and competitors is essential.
