Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance for Gilead's global operations. Key duties include:

• Managing and maintaining global lease and fixed asset accounting for all GFS markets, including processing additions and retirements in the ERP system.
• Liaising with Markets and Facilities teams for new or amended building leases, and with Fleet managers and local markets for car leases.
• Collaborating with Markets and Facilities for timely capitalizations.
• Ensuring all month-end activities, reconciliations, and journal postings are completed per checklists and close timetables.
• Maintaining compliance with US GAAP, Local GAAP, Gilead Corporate Controllers Manual, SOX requirements, and preparing reports like SEC quarterly schedules and statutory schedules.
• Adhering to policies and procedures while contributing to process definitions and improvements.
