Design and implement data transformation, ingestion, and curation functions on GCP using native services or custom programming. Build production-ready data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within hybrid big data architectures, leveraging Python for scalability.
Optimize data pipelines for peak performance and cost-effectiveness in large-scale data lakes. Ensure solutions handle healthcare's high-volume, real-time data demands efficiently.
Utilize GCP tools including DataFlow and Airflow for ingestion, BigQuery for analytics, and CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or Concourse for agile deployments.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates need 2+ years in Data Analytics and Integration, 2+ years with Python, and 2+ years writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. At least 1+ year of hands-on GCP experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Analytics is essential.
Hands-on with Data Ingestion technologies like GCP DataFlow and Airflow. Proficiency in designing and optimizing data models on BigQuery. Agile development experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Concourse, Jenkins) are required. Google Cloud Platform certification is a valuable plus.
