The Sr. Analyst, Falcon Complete position is a remote role based in the United Kingdom, offering you the chance to join CrowdStrike's virtual security operations center. This is for highly motivated, self-driven technical analysts dedicated to global security. You'll detect and respond to incidents in real-time using the Falcon platform, expanding your skills across diverse experiences. If you have an incident response or information security background and crave hands-on technical work that matters, this role lets you lead teams, interact with customers, and accelerate your expertise in a high-impact environment.
In this role, you'll dive deep into cybersecurity operations with the Falcon Complete team. Key responsibilities include conducting monitoring and in-depth analysis of security alerts generated by the Falcon platform. You'll exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms, perform malware analysis, and execute remote remediation of malware or malicious activity. Expect to develop and improve processes for incident detection, triage, and countermeasures. You'll produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management, while demonstrating thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking. Additionally, you'll manage internal programs or teams, serve as a technical escalation point, mentor lower-level analysts, provide oversight and quality assurance, and assist in advancing security processes and procedures.
Each day brings opportunities to protect organizations from advanced attackers like Advanced Persistent Threats, organized crime, and hacktivists, ensuring real-world impact through the Falcon platform's capabilities.
Successful candidates bring experience in incident handling, computer forensic analysis, systems administration, network forensic analysis, malware analysis, incident remediation, network operations, or programming/scripting. A BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. Bonus points for 4-6 years of relevant incident handling experience, at least one relevant security certification, strong verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and excellent time management with multitasking prowess. Proficiency in tools for forensic analysis, network protocols, and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, C#, and Perl is essential.
