Key Responsibilities

• Discussing NFR and system dimensioning with architects and test leads.
• Performing feasibility analysis via proofs of concept (POCs).
• Enhancing scripts with parameterization, correlations, pacing, and think time.
• Designing workload models and executing performance test scripts.
• Monitoring server and database performance to identify bottlenecks.
• Engaging with architects and DBAs for optimizations.
• Analyzing issues from browser to server level using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Profiling test results, logs, and resource utilization to isolate issues.
• Preparing comprehensive test reports and communicating findings to stakeholders.

This position demands proficiency in quantitative methods for capacity recommendations and workload balancing.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates need hands-on experience with performance testing tools and a solid technical foundation:

• Mandatory Skills: JMeter, BlazeMeter, Taurus; APM tools (Splunk, Dynatrace); Java, SQL, Groovy, BeanShell scripting; UNIX/Linux; DevOps/Performance Engineering; SQL DB and MongoDB.
• Good to Have: Healthcare, E-Commerce, Middleware, Kafka; CI/CD (Concourse); Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
