Role Overview

As a Sr. Buyer in Procurement at CrowdStrike's Pune office, you will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, build strong vendor relationships, and drive cost-effective purchasing strategies. This full-time role, based in Kharadi, Pune, with shift timing from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST, plays a pivotal role in supporting business needs while ensuring compliance and efficiency. You'll contribute to our mission to stop breaches by enabling seamless operations through strategic sourcing and procurement excellence in the fast-paced cybersecurity sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the complete procurement process, from requisition to purchase order creation and management.
• Identify and evaluate vendors, analyze quotes from a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) perspective, and validate pricing for best value.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to secure optimal pricing in line with company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in company systems, processing requisitions timely.
• Assist Accounts Payable and stakeholders with invoice reconciliation and payments.
• Support contract reviews and renewals with legal and business teams.
• Monitor procurement budgets, perform spend analysis, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Generate procurement reports, track KPIs, and contribute to MIS activities.
• Ensure full compliance with policies and implement process efficiencies for productivity gains.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Sr. Buyer at CrowdStrike, you need 6-8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with hands-on expertise in full requisition-to-payment processes.
