Role Overview

As a Sr Coordinator, Individualized Care, you will play a pivotal role in Cardinal Health's patient support ecosystem. This fully remote, full-time position (40 hours/week) involves investigating patient and physician inquiries, mediating payer and pharmacy challenges, and ensuring seamless access to critical therapies. With flexible shifts during business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm CT), you'll thrive in a dynamic environment prioritizing urgency, accuracy, and superior customer service. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will focus on high-impact tasks driving patient success:

• Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
• Mediate complex payer/pharmacy issues, de-escalating situations for positive resolutions.
• Conduct proactive follow-ups with patients, providers, payers, and pharmacies to facilitate therapy access and delivery.
• Maintain precise, detailed notations in databases, self-auditing for accuracy and efficiency.
• Assess financial eligibility and guide patients to appropriate assistance programs.
• Handle escalations within client timelines, tracking payer trends and reporting to management.
• Support team overflow, collaborating to meet patient population needs.

Performance Expectations

At this senior level, you'll apply in-depth knowledge of job policies, resolve complex problems independently, modify processes as needed, and provide guidance to junior team members—all while working autonomously within established procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates should demonstrate:

• 3-6 years of experience in patient support, healthcare coordination, or related fields (preferred).
• High School Diploma, GED, or technical certification in a relevant area.
• Exceptional communication skills in written and verbal formats.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments with urgency and accuracy.
• Strong mediation skills for resolving disputes among patients, providers, and payers.
